Junior National STTA - Graphic Designer
The Evidence for Health (E4H) program, funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), aims to enhance Pakistan's healthcare system in order to reduce illness and save lives. E4H provides technical assistance (TA) to the federal government, as well as to the provincial governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab. The program is being implemented by Palladium in collaboration with Oxford Policy Management (OPM).
E4H works through a flexible, embedded, and demand-driven model, assisting the government in building a resilient health system that can effectively respond to health emergencies, is informed by evidence, and delivers equitable, high-quality healthcare services. The program focuses on three main outcomes:
- Strengthening health security, with an emphasis on preparedness for health emergencies and pandemics.
- Promoting evidence-based decision-making to improve the performance and accountability of the health sector.
- Enhancing the implementation of Universal Health Coverage (UHC), with a particular focus on reducing preventable deaths.
The primary goal of the technical support is to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Care Commission (HCC) by improving its regulatory framework, particularly in the areas of quality assurance, registration, and licensing. The support will also focus on customizing Minimum Service Delivery Standards (MSDS) for Primary Healthcare (PHC) facilities.
The team will coordinate with the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) roadmap and Quality of Care (QOC) strategic plan teams to ensure the integration and alignment of efforts. Their activities will include reviewing existing MSDS for PHC facilities, identifying gaps, and incorporating lessons learned from cross-province implementations. Stakeholder feedback, particularly from Sindh and Punjab HCCs, will also be gathered and used to refine and customize the MSDS for KP.
In addition, the team will develop tools for monitoring the impact of the MSDS, define measurable benchmarks, and work with service providers to finalize the revised standards. They will also collaborate with the Department of Health (DOH) to develop tailored service packages for General Practitioners (GPs) and specialist clinics.
A Graphic Designer will play a key role in supporting this initiative by creating visual content such as infographics and assessment tools for the MSDS for BHUs and GP clinics. The designer will work with the team to produce clear, engaging, and informative graphics that align with the objectives of the project.
The Graphic Designer is expected to contribute for 15 working days, from January to March 2025, and should have a postgraduate degree in graphic design, digital media, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Figma, Canva, and After Effects is required. The designer should also be skilled in color psychology, layout composition, and understanding of UI/UX principles.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information through visual design, ensuring that the graphics are informative and easily understood by various stakeholders.
